7 weeks or less

So we have made it to 33 weeks in this pregnancy and I think that it is just setting in now that in 7 weeks or less we will be having a baby.. We have been pretty much prepared for the last couple of months.. We have everything we need, we just need the Baby.. We have the room ready, some clothes washed and all the baby things put together..
I (Tina) have 10 work days left until I am done work.. I can`t wait to be able to be home and relaxing.. I am scared that the time will begin to go slower while I am off for a month before the Baby comes.. I will have to fing lots of things to keep me busy.. I am hoping that the "nesting" stage comes and stays for a while..
Philippe has decided that he is going to take parental leave with me.. Which I am ever so greatful for, expecially living away from my family.. He will be a great hlep to raise the Baby..
I have just one little delemia.. I have decided to use cloth diapers, but now I am on the fence a little on my decision.. For the first couple of weeks when the Baby is home we have decided to use disposables.. Then we will try cloth.. I hope that the cloth work as I feel that they will save us money in the long run.. But I guess we will see..
That is all for now :)

  1. I knew all along I'd be using cloth, but didn't jump in until Eli was about two months old. People gave us some disposables and the hospital sent us home with a bunch too. They're so tiny at first the cloth are really too big for them anyway! Can't wait to see pics of little Brielle!

  2. Nothing wrong with starting out with disposable, it will surly make it easier until you get into a routine.
What is your plan for cloth? Service or do it yourself? For a service do you have to commit to a certain time? Do it yourself how much of an investment to get started?
Finally I would consider always having some disposable around for when you are out and about. You will have lots to carry around without having to worry about where to put the dirty dipper when shopping.

  3. There are no servies here in Windsor, so I will have to buy my own.. I have already bought 10 and the cost was just over $80.. I will have to buy another 15 or so to have a complete set.. So about $100 more or so.. We will see :)
